Canadians to be able to use Crypto.com Visa cards

Cryptocurrency companies across the globe are trying to increase their mainstream reach by providing efficient services to the customers allowing them to use digital assets more efficiently.

Canada is emerging as a hotspot for crypto, thus the cryptocurrency firms are trying to expand their user base in Canada at an exponential pace. Crypto.com exchange has announced launching its Visa card for Canadians early next year.  Crypto.com Visa card is currently available in Europe, the USA, and Singapore. 

Crypto.com Visa Card Launches in Canada

The company announced that the card would be available to Canadian citizens from January 2021, the applications can be made on the Crypto.com app. The customers would be able to use the card at various outlets and withdraw money from ATM transaction charges. The Crypto.com card facilitates services with discounted rates on Amazon Prime, Spotify, and Netflix and get an instant cashback of 8 percent. 

Per the official statement, the users can easily apply for the card on Crypto.com and quickly complete the application process within a few minutes. Starting January 2021, the card would begin shipping to various applicants after the ID check and other formalities are completed.

Canada Adopting Crypto

Canada is on a fast progression towards becoming a highly crypto-pro country with many firms and ventures within the nation, adopting cryptocurrencies. Earlier this year, QDAC, a stable coin associated with the Canadian Dollar, was launched by the Canada Joint Venture, which can be traded against Ethereum, USDC, and Bitcoin. A host of crypto companies have shown substantial growth in the Canadian crypto markets by setting up mining pools, exchanges, and facilities in the country. Most recently, VBit opened a high tech bitcoin mining facility in Canada.

Canada based Ethereum network CanEth struck a deal worth 10 Million USD with Dubai based IBC group for staking 21,984 Ethereum tokens.

Kris Marszalek. the CEO of the crypto exchange Crypto.com said that Canada is a tech-savvy and Innovative country that has always been warm to cryptocurrencies. Thus, the Visa cards would facilitate an efficient and highly beneficial service to the customer encapsulating a 360 degree utility of digital assets. The launch in Canada is an important achievement for the exchange as it endeavors to provide efficient debit cards to customers across countries.
