IOHK revealed that the Giguen mainnet is slated for launch in March 2021, giving some good news to the community members.

Goguen platform would be a substantial move for the Cardano network as the users would build decentralized applications with ease. It also gives extended features like a multi-asset ledger.

The Goguen roadmap is all set to trigger the Cardano community as crypto watchers were awaiting the details of the Cardano mainnet launch eagerly.

Goguen, is set to launch next year following the first two phases Byron and Shelley. While there were some hitches and delays in the Shelley release, the Cardano community was eagerly waiting for the Goguen rollout details.

IOHK also revealed the new language Plutus with which the smart contract developers would be able to build efficiently. The single codebase would facilitate the off and on-chain components, creating a more seamless development experience, which is much improved than the currency smart contract implementation.

Plutus: The New Smart Contract Languege

Plutus language comes with an array of benefits for the developers, including wider interoperability with the contracts. The Goguen platform would help developers write smart contracts in various languages unlike Ethereum in which only Solidity language is supported.

Marlow, the Domain Specific Language would also be available on the platform, which would help the common non-technical people to use and build smart contracts in the Goguen platform. The Cardano community is much optimistic about the implementation and reach of the smart contract development having real-time implementations with this language.

Goguen To Take On Ethereum

As per the roadmap, quarter one of 2020 would bring some monumental changes to the Cardano development; the CEO Charles Hoskinson also advocated that by March 2021, the Goguen platform would be launched, the network would presumably be completely decentralized.

Goguen platform is indeed going to increase the efficiency of the Cardano network with its enhanced capability to build more substantial decentralized apps. The

The Director of marketing and Hosting Tim Harrison hosted the Cardano Development October Update in which he shared the update on the ERC-20 convertor, which called out for the various Ethereum projects to switch to Cardano. Also, strengthening the stance Vilasin Vikoje, the ex COO of Tenderly, showed how to use the ERC-20 converter for converting BAT, AGI, USDC, and DAI
