Twitter and other social media channels are throbbing with messages and posts tby crypto personalities as they try to convince the United States President Donald J Trump to use his special powers to pardon  Ross Ulbricht, the founder of Silk Road.

The crypto leaders urge the outgoing US president to relinquish Ross Ulbricht, Julian Assange, and Edward Snowden of the charges the three are facing.

Requests To Forgive Ulbricht, Snowden and Assange

As the US President-Elect Joe Biden is all set to take office in January 2021, people are requesting Trump to use his remaining days to exercise his power and create a beneficial legacy for humanity.

Morgan Creek Digital Assets Co-founder Jason Williams had earlier asked the president to pardon Edward Snowden, the Wikileaks whistleblower, and Ros Ulbricht, the Slkroad founder and Jullian Assange.

President Trump recently forgave the ex-national security advisor Michael Flynn. Flynn was undergoing prosecution regarding a Russia Investigation case. After President Trump pardoned Michael Flinch around Thanksgiving last month, several have requested President Trump to consider pardoning Ulbricht, Assange, and Snowden.

Silkroad is a dark web marketplace which is under scrutiny for promoting the distribution and trade of narcotics, money laundering, and fraudulent activities over the internet. Ulbricht is currently facing dual life sentences that span more than 40 years.

Julian Assange garnered a lot of popularity and media attention after facing the Espionage Act violation case along with much national authority and sexual assault charges. Associated with the Wikileaks case, he was held in United Kingdom jail awaiting a decision in the United States trial court.

Former National Security Agent Snowden turned whistleblower was charged with violation of the Espionage Act of 1917 by the US Department of Justice. Currently, under Russian refuge, Snowden recently tweeted that he is applying for Dual US-Russian citizenship. He tweeted that he doesn’t want to be separated from his to-be-born son after being separated by his parents. He further added that He and His Wife would remain Americans raising their son with American values. Snowden was granted asylum by the Russian government and is living in Russia for the last seven years.

Several leading crypto players have asked Donald Trump to forgive the three accused as they are in jail for victimless crimes.

United States President has unlimited power to pardon someone, and Trump said in August that he ‘is going to start looking’ at pardoning Snowden. People are calling out to include other names in his potential list.
