Ethereum User Experience

Vitalik Buterin, the founder of Ethereum, recently discussed the issues that need to be addressed in order to improve the user experience of the Ethereum network. He recalled his experiences in 2021 and 2022 when he tried to pay for tea in Argentina and faced high transaction fees and delays. He believes that simple and robust user interfaces are better than fancy and sleek ones, and that default values should be improved. He also noted that there is still a risk of transactions being rejected due to spikes in fees, and that wallet UIs are not good at showing this. Buterin concluded by saying that decentralized solutions are not as popular as centralized ones because of the outdated applications and user experience. The Ethereum Merge has helped to speed up the average time to process transactions, but more needs to be done to achieve global adoption.
