Aubrey Drake Graham, better known as Drake, is a Canadian musician who recently made a $400,000 bet in Bitcoin on Jake Paul to beat Tommy Fury in a boxing match. Unfortunately, Paul lost the match, leaving Drake without the potential million-dollar profit he could have made. Paul jokingly blamed Drake for his loss, saying that he had won a lot of money betting on Paul’s previous fights and that he would get the win in a rematch.
The rapper has become known for the “Drake Curse” due to his unfortunate bets on sports events, such as Anthony Joshua’s loss to Andy Ruiz and Argentina’s loss to France in the FIFA World Cup Final. However, Drake has had more success betting on the Super Bowl, winning over $1.2 million in Bitcoin this year when the Kansas City Chiefs won and Patrick Mahomes scored a touchdown. Last year, he won $300K in Bitcoin when the LA Rams triumphed and OBJ scored a touchdown.
