Yuga Labs recently announced Twelvefold, a limited edition collection of 300 generative pieces inscribed on Satoshis on the Bitcoin blockchain. The collection is based on a 12×12 grid, a visual allegory for the cartography of data on the Bitcoin blockchain. The pieces feature both 3D elements and hand-drawn features, and the auction will launch later this week. The introduction of Ordinals, which are NFTs inscribed into one Satoshi, has taken the crypto world by storm this year, with more than 200,000 being inscribed. Yuga Labs is optimistic about the future of Ordinals and believes it is not just another crypto craze. Despite this, NFT sales have yet to follow crypto asset markets into recovery, with daily sales down 66% from the same time last year. The most popular NFT collection over the past week is BAYC, with $26 million in secondary sales.
