Sandbox, the blockchain game company, recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Saudi Arabia Digital Government Authority (DGA), which will allow them to explore, advise, and support activations of the Metaverse. This news caused the native token of the platform, SAND, to surge by 27%, pushing it to $0.91. This is the best performance the token has seen in three months, though it still stands far from its all-time high of over $7.50, which was registered in November 2021. Co-Founder and COO of Sandbox, Sebastien Borget, announced the partnership on LinkedIn and Twitter, and expressed his excitement for the collaboration. The MOU is expected to bring further developments in the Metaverse space, and could potentially lead to more price increases for SAND.
